All who attend The Vine are encouraged to engage in God-directed service to a world hungry for love, compassion, and truth — the good news of Jesus. Sharing God's love, we serve our local community as Christ's hands and feet. We also partner with ministries which extend the Gospel of Jesus into our local parish and far beyond our own doorstep.

Service to Members & Attenders of Our Church Family
Sunday mornings at The Vine are active as we volunteer for children’s ministry, welcome teams, audio/visual, readers, coffee/tea makers, musicians and other prep.
We consider Vine small groups (and you being in one) a crucial component of walking with Jesus together. These groups provide prayer support, accountability, study, and loving encouragement through life’s best and most difficult seasons.
Fellowship opportunities include church-wide picnics and potlucks, women’s weekly coffee time at Panacea, men’s breakfast fellowship, occasional weekend retreats, and Bible studies.
The Vine Church-wide Retreat, during which we travel a short distance away to spend the weekend enjoying guest leaders, worship, meals, great fun, and unhurried time together.

Service In and Around Our Parish of Haywood County, With and Through Other Churches, Ministries and Non-Profit Groups
We encourage participation in groups like Habitat for Humanity and Pathways Center, and joining others in disaster recovery work.
We support Haywood Christian Ministries who care for many needy in our community.
With the help of Anglican Relief and Development Fund, we are able to provide items of need in local relief efforts such as water, food, baby items, clean-up supplies, and more.
The Little Free Pantry our children built is installed at 489 Pigeon Street. We help keep it loaded up with non-perishables.
Everywhere
Service Reaching Around the World
We send and support missionaries through Youth With A Mission who share the love of God and make Him known throughout the world. Our long-term YWAM missionaries are Richard & Amy Fish, Dan & Desirée Snyder, and Mason Stephens.
We also support specific missionaries connected with our church through East West Ministries and Africa Inland Mission.
Compassion International – The Vine is a Compassion Partner. Many of our members sponsor children all over the world through providing monthly support for food, medical care, Bible teaching, and clothes/gifts in collaboration with a local church in each child’s community.
Global Mission Initiative and Anglican Frontier Missions – We are in the early stages of learning about the worldwide outreach work of our denomination, but its scope is tremendous with many ways to be involved.
Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child is a gospel-centered outreach we have supported for many years. We pack shoeboxes with Christmas gifts for children who otherwise wouldn’t receive gifts and might not otherwise hear, “I love you and God loves you. Merry Christmas!”
