Overview
Youth Ministry Fellowship (grades 6-12) provides an opportunity for youth to develop an independent understanding of who they are in light of who God is and in the context of peers. Our desire is to help our students navigate this season of life with a solid understanding of how Jesus wants to walk with them through life.

June 25: Helene Relief Work Day in Black Mountain (day trip)
June 29: Beginning of Summer Party (5-7pm, location TBD)
July 7: Pathways Work Day + Lunch Outing (10:30am-1pm)
July 30: River Tubing in Cherokee (day trip)
August 4: Pathways Work Day + Lunch Outing (10:30am-1pm)
August 15: All Ages Outdoor Movie Night (6:30-10pm)
August 31: Back to School Get Together & Prayer at The Vine (5-7pm)
Parents: To avoid missing updates & other info from us, update your household’s info. Be sure to also include your youth’s grade level so you don’t miss youth ministry communications.
What To Expect
We gather for fellowship and games, dinner, Bible study, teaching, and discussion, with our quarterly 5th Sundays serving as a special movie night. Teens from other churches are welcome even if they don’t attend our Sunday worship services.
We engage in a variety of activities throughout the year, including mission trips, hikes, service projects, retreats, and other good stuff.
Current Conversations
Through the month of June we are going through Alpha Youth, a discussion-based series on big questions about faith and a relationship with God. Alpha is designed to invite deeper engagement with faith and to welcome those questions that we may not have had permission to ask before—no question is too hostile or too simple.
Each week includes teaching on a topic from a Christian perspective followed by discussion in which people may share their own perspective or simply listen to the thoughts of others. All are welcome to participate, especially those friends who may be on the “fence of faith” or of our youth community.
